MATCH REPORT · Jun 2026

fyio 25–9 Giants: a season in the numbers

Eleven matchups, nine wins, two draws and zero losses. We break down a record-breaking season against the biggest names in tech — and where the goals came from.

The final standings don't lie: 9 wins, 2 draws, 0 losses. envfyio kept a clean sheet against 1Password for twelve straight matchdays — not a single secret leaked. authfyio saw off Auth0 in a five-goal thriller that went to extra time: 84.2k logins, zero breaches.

The attack was relentless. payfyio clocked $8,240 MRR in a single month, up 31% on the season opener. buildfyio shipped 126 production builds without a failed deploy. codefyio served 9.4k completions a day — more than one every ten seconds around the clock.

Full-time: fyio XI 25 — Giants XI 9. Next season, we add two more to the bench.

TACTICS · May 2026

Why we run a 4-3-3 of developer tools

A squad only works if the positions are right. Here's how we mapped secrets, auth, data, deploy, build and payments onto a formation that actually ships product.

A classic 4-3-3 shapes everything. In goal, envfyio holds the line — one secret rotation and the whole back four stays clean. The four defenders cover the infrastructure layer: auth, data, low-code sharing, and edge deploy. You can't concede if the back line is solid.

Three midfielders control the build: gitfyio on version control, buildfyio on CI/CD previews, codefyio on AI completions. Three forwards close out the deal — payfyio takes the payments, nfyio provides the cloud, excelfyio turns data into decisions.

Every position maps to a job. No wasted caps, no squad bloat. That's the formation we shipped, and it's the one we're keeping.

SIGNING · Apr 2026

mailfyio joins the bench, powered by Proton

Our first marketplace partner brings custom-domain email to the squad. Here's what a third-party signing means for the fyio ecosystem.

mailfyio is the squad's first marketplace signing — custom-domain email powered by Proton's end-to-end-encrypted infrastructure. It sits on the bench: available in the marketplace, optional, and billed through the same fyio wallet with a 70/30 provider split.

Why Proton? Because independent tools deserve independent infrastructure. No Google Workspace, no Microsoft 365. Email that respects the privacy standards we'd want as users ourselves.

Third-party signings follow a simple rulebook: single-wallet billing, one-click onboarding, clean opt-out. mailfyio is the proof of concept. It won't be the last.

BEHIND THE BADGE · Mar 2026

One wallet, every app: how myfyio billing works

Storage, vector queries, build minutes and API calls — all on one credit balance. A look at the economics of fielding eleven tools at once.

We made a bet early: one credit balance across all eleven apps. No separate invoices, no per-app subscriptions to juggle. Top up once and the squad draws from the same pot — storage gigabytes, API calls, build minutes and vector queries all on one ledger.

Each app reports its spend in plain units. One storage gigabyte costs the same whether you're writing to basefyio or sharefyio. One build minute is one build minute. You always know what a deployment or a login actually costs, before the invoice arrives.

Auto-refill kicks in when your balance drops below a threshold you set. The wallet is transparent by design — because hidden costs are exactly how the giants keep you locked in.
